Coaxial Cable

Coaxial Cable is used as a transmission line for radio frequency signals. Its applications include feedlines connecting radio transmitters and receivers with their antennas, computer network connections, and distributing cable television signals. Coaxial cable also provides protection of the signal from external electromagnetic interference.

Used for radio communication and amateur radio, thin Ethernet (10BASE2)
and NIM electronics, Loss 1.056 dB/meter @ 2.4GHz

RG-213/U Coaxial Cable (50 Ohms)
Used for radio communication and amateur radio, EMC test antenna cables
Typically lower loss than RG-58

RG-8/U coaxial cable (50 Ohms)
Userd for amateur radio, Thicknet (10BASE5) is similar

RG-8/X coaxial cable (50 Ohms)
A thinner version
with the electrical characteristics of RG-8/U in a diameter similar to RG-6

RG-174/U coaxial cable (50 Ohms)
Common for wifi pigtails
More flexible but higher loss than RG58

RG-214/U coaxial cable (50 Ohms)
Used for high-frequency signal transmissions

RG-223/U Coaxial Cable (50 Ohms)
Silver-plated shielding

RG-316/U Coaxial Cable (50 Ohms)
used with LEMO 00 connectors in NIM electronics

RG-400/U Coaxial Cable (50 Ohms)

H-155 Coaxial Cable (50 Ohms)
Lower loss at high frequency for radio communication and amateur radio

H-500 Coaxial Cable (50 Ohms)
low loss at high frequency for radio communication and amateur radio

LMR-100 Coaxial Cable (50 Ohms)
low loss communications, 1.36dB/meter @ 2.4GHz
